Carl Thomas Robinson, age 23, of Melrose, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City of a sudden illness. Carl loved being at Camp Appanoose and going on adventures through the Rocky Mountains. He thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors.

He recently learned to play the guitar, and he cherished his friends and family members. Carl was the grandson of Cecil and Theresa (Riddick) Samuel of Melrose, Iowa. He is also survived by his sister, Jennifer (Tim) Cassidy of Jacksonville, North Carolina; his father, Richard (Betsy) Robinson of Portland, Tennessee; as well as many other family members whom will all miss him dearly.
