Obituary for Aaron Ray “Red” Mitchell Aaron Ray Mitchell, age 37, of DeMotte, IN passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 in DeMotte. Aaron was born March 28, 1981 in Valparaiso, Indiana the son of Thomas Mitchell and Kathryn (Gilson) Sytsma. Aaron graduated from American School Academy, Class of 1999.

He was employed as an order filler for Advance Auto Parts Distribution Center in Remington, Indiana. Aaron loved his dog Buster, music, and had a passion for motorcycles. He also enjoyed farming, four-wheeling, big trucks, and snowmobiling.

Aaron is survived by his parents: Kathryn (Dan) Sytsma of Wheatfield, IN; Thomas (Marcia) Mitchell of DeMotte, IN; brother Matt (Prudance) Mitchell of Fair Oaks, IN; sister: Brooke (Kyle Neff) Sytsma of DeMotte, IN; niece, Jasmine and nephews, Nolan and Liam; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; dog, Buster. Friends may visit with the family at Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:30 AM with Steve Sytsma officiating.
