Aaron William Pettit, age 57, of Albertville, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at UAB Hospital. There will be a graveside service for Mr. Pettit, at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at New Life Cemetery in Sardis. Rev.

Keith Black will officiate. Casket bearers will be Chase Smith, Andrew Hicks, David Smith, David Johnson, Luther Phillips and Josh Pettit. There will be no visitation.

He is survived by his children, Josh Pettit of Albertville, Lateshia Pettit (Major) of Guntersville, Chasity Pettit of Albertville, Esteban Pettit of Geraldine and Sebastian Pettit of Albertville, step-children, Stephanie (Jose) Gavina of Albertville, Lydia Vazquez of Illinois and David Vazquez of Texas, four grandchildren and three step grandchildren, mother and step-father, Carolyn and Luther Phillips of Albertville, sister, Becky Smith (David) of Union Grove, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by father, Jack Pettit and grandchild, Will Gwathney.
