Obituary for Abby Frances Hewitt Hewitt, Abby F. Age 93 died peacefully with her family by her side in St. Paul, MN on May 4. Abby was born in Providence RI. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1945 and began working as a designer at Munsingwear in Minneapolis.

She is preceded in death by Leigh her loving husband of 60 years. Survived by son Brad (Sue), daughters Jean and Elizabeth, grandchildren Matt, Melissa Catie, Bill, Ryan, and Jason, and great-granddaughter Audrey. She loved art and design and used these gifts to create beautiful works in her sewing and knitting.

Leigh and Abby enjoyed travel, bridge and volunteering with Braille Ministry. While she lived most of her life in Minnesota, her heart was always near the Ocean State. Thanks to all her friends and caregivers at Carondelet Village and the Sister of St. Joseph.

Memorial Service Friday, May 11 at 11:00AM at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 9201 Normandale Blvd. , Bloomington, MN with luncheon immediately following service. Upcoming Events Memorial 2018 MAY 11.
