Graveside Service: 4:30 p.m. – Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Eversole Family Cemetery – Hyden, KY Interment: Eversole Family Cemetery – Hyden, Kentucky Visitation: 2-4 p.m. – Friday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel Ace Simpson of Hyden, Kentucky was born February 16, 1949 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late George and Linda Gilbert Simpson. Ace had been a life-long resident of Leslie County except for living in Indiana for a period. By occupation, Ace worked as a Landscaper and sawmill employee.

Ace was a hard worker and enjoyed working with landscaping, carpentry work, collecting rocks, hunting, ginseng hunting, and exploring caves. He was an avid outdoorsman. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and listening to his grandson play music.

In addition to his parents, Ace was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Joe, Levi and infant brothers, sister, Helen Caldwell and special nephew, Oba Simpson. Ace leaves behind, his fiancé, Poshia Lewis of Hyden, Kentucky, children, Hoy Simpson (Mary) of Hyden, KY, James Lewis (Reba) of Hamilton, OH, and Melissa Bray (Ronnie) of Hyden, KY. Other survivors include, brother, Gilbert Simpson (Ida) of IN, sisters, Goldie Brown of Hyden, KY, Leona Mae House (Leonard) of London, KY, and Betty Jean Wilson (Vernon) of Asher, KY.

Along with seven grandchildren, Monica Bray, Rylan Simpson, Ty Goins (Tiffany), Anthony Lewis (Kaylynn), Ryan Bray (April), Aaron Lewis and Zack Hayze Bray; great-grandchildren, Trinity Lewis, Wyatt Goins and Noah Carr. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
