Obituary for Adam Armour Adam Armour, age 39, a resident of Birchwood, went peacefully to rest in Jesus on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Adam was born in Chattanooga, TN on October 31, 1979. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Armour; paternal grandmother, Mattie Gibson and maternal grandfather, J. L. Prentice.

Adam loved music and attended Bradley Central High School and played the trumpet in the marching band. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. During his teenage years, Adam survived an aggressive brain tumor and received treatment for it at St. Jude.

Adam was a Christian. He is survived by his mother, Janet Armour of Kansas City, MO; brother, Daniel Armour and wife, Melissa, of Kansas City, MO; maternal grandmother Dorothy Prentice of Birchwood, TN; and host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Celebration of life services for Adam will be conducted December 15th 2018 at 11am at the Jim Rush Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.

with Reverend Jim Hibbard officiating. Graveside services and Interment will be held private for the family. In lieu of gifts and flowers, the family ask for donations to please be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN in Adam’s name.
