Adam Newkirk age 39, of Lewis Center, OH, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at The James Cancer Hospital. Adam was born May 13, 1979 in Eugene, OR; graduate of Rex Putnam High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, then on to post-graduate school receiving his MBA from Ashland University. He was employed by Grote Company as an accountant.

Adam meant the word to his family and will be missed deeply. He loved being surrounded by his family and was an amazing husband and father. His loving and generous nature made him a friend to all.

Being a natural athlete, he was ever ready for adventure, laughter and an OSU football game. He loved a crazy roller coaster ride, also enabling him to fight the ups and downs of cancer with positivity, strength and determination. Adam set a perfect example to live and love; anyone that knew him was lucky to have him touch their life.

Adam was the loving spouse of Julie; devoted father to Kaleigh, Kyra, and Kyle; cherished son of Mary and Les Newkirk; and proud brother of Mandy Mazry. A celebration for Adam’s life will take place in the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington,OH 43085 on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 4:00 PM, Vickie Kissel, Life Celebrant. Friends may call from 1 PM until the time of service.
