Adam Rudolph Bizzell August 11, 1934 – December 23, 2018 Adam Rudolph Bizzell, age 84, of Selma, passed away on December 23, 2018 following a period of declining health. Born in Wayne County on August 11, 1934, he was the son of the late Jesse Waitus and Pauline Worley Bizzell. Mr. Bizzell worked for CSX Railroad for 45 years.

He was a member of Selma Church of God where he served as Treasurer for 38 years and taught Sunday School for 58 years. The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma on Wednesday, December 26, from 2-2:45 pm followed by a graveside service in Selma Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Thorne Bizzell, sons, Rudy Bizzell of Clayton, Ricky Bizzell and wife Martha of Wilson; a brother, Pete Bizzell of Kenly; sisters, Ann Tedder of Kenly, Faye Hill of Princeton, Eva Mae Armstong of Virginia and Louise Tedder of Virginia; grandchildren, Ben Bizzell and wife Re’onna, Rikki Bizzell, Sarah Bizzell and Tim Bizzell; and great grandchildren, Calla, Atticus and Zeke Bizzell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God Children’s Home, 3485 Orphanage Circle, Concord, NC 28027.
