Obituary for Adele C. (Carroll) McDowell Adele C. (Carroll) McDowell, age 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018. She was born June 22, 1930, a daughter of the late James and Marie Carroll. She was a long time member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church in North Huntingdon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years Edward A. McDowell; daughter Rosemary Yost; brothers James and Thomas Carroll; and sisters Lenoir Delehunt, Margaret Kupfner and Mary Boyle. She is survived by her children Larry (Sandy) McDowell, Aileen Barnard, Carol Duffy and Peggy (Jim) Kozej; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; son-in-law Jim Yost; brother Patrick (Anita) Carroll; sister Joan (Fred) Bloom; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation private.

Everyone is invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in North Huntingdon. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Irwin. Arrangements handled by the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200.
