SOUTHINGTON – Adeline Grzesczyk, 94, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Henry Grzesczyk who passed away in 1980. Born January 11, 1924 in New Britain; the daughter of the late Franz and Theresa (Bognar) Weber.

Adeline was an Accounting Manager for Emhart in Berlin for many years. Family was everything to her and she will be deeply missed by those who loved her. She is survived by her cherished son, Bruce Gresczyk and his wife Bernadette… Read More » of New Hartford; two grandsons, Bruce Gresczyk, Jr., and his wife Amy of Torrington and Henry Gresczyk of New Hartford; two great grandchildren, Bruce Gresczyk, III and Adeline Gresczyk, both of Torrington; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Erma McPhee and Helen Duncan. Friends may call on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford from 10 – 11 AM with a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be private at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain.
