Adlina Williams was born July 20, 1920 in Jackson Tennessee to late Lizzie Glen Motton and Jim Motton. Adlina was the 7th born of 8 children. All siblings proceeded her in death.

Adlina attended school in Jackson, Tennessee. Adlina accepted Christ at an early age, she attended Bascom C.M.E. church in Jackson Tennessee and later became a member of Windermere Methodist Church in East Cleveland Ohio where she was a faithful servant to the Lord. Adlina married Taylor Williams December 19,1938, in this union they had four children Carlene Simpson, Robert L. Williams, Nancy J. Hardy and Thomas Williams.

Taylor, Nancy and Thomas proceeded her in death. Adlina worked at Highland View hospital for 20 years. She later worked for East Cleveland Public School systems where she retired.

Adlina leaves to cherish her memories daughter Carlene Simpson, son Robert L. Williams, two sister in-laws, Dorothy Williams of Cleveland Ohio and Pearline Bills of Indianapolis, Indiana. 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 38 great, great grandchildren, 1 great, great, great grandchild, nieces, nephews and her E. 134th Street Family.
