Land, Jr. will be at 2 pm Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Olan McLaren officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Creston, LA.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm until service time on Sunday the 6th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Adrian Land, Jr. 82 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019, in Alexandria, LA. He was born on June 16, 1936, to Adrian Land, Sr. and Trudie Hanes Land in Fairview Alpha, LA.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Conlay Land; his parents; and sisters, Sammy Guilliams and Janice Losey. Adrian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in agriculture finance from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. He is survived by a son, Michael Adrian Land; a daughter, Lisa Land Johnson and her husband Edward Andrew Johnson; and grandchildren, Emily Ann Johnson, Hannah Grace Johnson, and Tyler Andrew Johnson.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Wilbur Nelson, David Dobson, Edward Andrew Johnson, Robert Messick, and Michael Adrian Land.
