OBITUARY Agnes Mae Murray Cumbee April 14, 1931 – July 12, 2018 Agnes Mae Murray Cumbee, 87, of Hanahan entered into eternal rest after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, on the morning of July 12, 2018. Agnes was born April 14, 1931, in Charleston, South Carolina, to the late Davis and Agnes Murray. Agnes was a faithful member of Cordesville Baptist Church, a graduate of Rice Business College, and retired after 43 years of dedication from Hughes Motors.

Agnes enjoyed time with family, music, the beach, and shopping. She is survived by her husband Melvin R. Cumbee of Hanahan, her daughter Tamara Hazel (Buddy) of Hanahan, her son Melvin R. Cumbee Jr. (Kristie) of Mount Pleasant, 3 grandchildren, Brandi Edmonds of Hanahan, Brett Edmonds of Hanahan, and Brooke Cumbee of Goose Creek, 2 great-grandchildren, Izaiah Simmons and Autumn Cumbee.
