Alan David Post of Wooster, OH, 59, lost his battle with COPD on December 2, 2018 at the home of his mother in Wooster. Alan was born July 30, 1959 in Wooster, OH to David and Lorita (Miller) Post of Shreve, OH. He attended Triway Schools and the Vocational Center.

He lived in Naples, and Marco Island, Florida several years before moving to N. Carolina. He loved his work as a commercial/industrial electrician. He returned to Wooster in 2013 due to poor health.

His favorite pastime was fishing, especially deep sea fishing. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting and looking for arrowheads. Alan is survived by is mother Lorita, and daughter Tosha Rene Post of Napes, FL.

; brothers Roger, of Lakeville, OH and Duane (Sarah), of Shreve, OH; a niece, nephew and several cousins; and Uncles Ken, Dennis, and Wilson Miller. He was preceded in death by his father David, grandparents Leroy and Edith Post, and Arthur and Esther Miller. It was Alan’s wishes to be cremated and there will be no services.
