OBITUARY Albert Bieser January 31, 1932 – January 8, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Albert Howard Bieser, age 86, of Houston, Texas passed away January 8, 2019. He was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado on January 31, 1932 to Frank William and Besse Cram Bieser. He was married to Karen Coady for 7-1/2 years.

Al was an entrepreneur. Over the course of his career in electrical engineering, physics, computer engineering and brain chemistry nutrition, he helped establish several companies. For the last 30 plus years, he devoted his life to the company, Neurogenesis, Inc., in League City, TX.

The main mission of Neurogenesis, Inc., is to help those suffering from alcohol and drug addictions, stress, PTSD, ADHD and anxiety by providing safe and natural nutritional supplements. In addition to all his other credentials, Al had a Doctorate of Divinity; BBA, B.S., Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado; and M.S. Electrical Engineering from SMU. Serving as a Past President of the Bay Area Amateur Radio Club for many years, Al was instrumental in supplying equipment for its repeater function.

He was President of the Clear Lake City Community Association (CLCCA) for a number of years as well. Also, Al was a Past Commander of the Galveston Bay Sail and Power Squadron. He was affiliated with the Masonic Lodge.

An inventor and a published author of several books, one of Al’s most notable achievements was the development of the Computer Recognition Bar Code System for “Recognition Equipment”. Al had a passion for LIFE … He enjoyed sailing, music, art, astronomy, teaching, photography, ham radio, the South Pacific and mentoring others in the startup of several small businesses. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Besse Cram Bieser and Frank William Bieser; brother, Frank William Bieser, Jr.; sister, Joyce Bieser Ferguson; and his first wife, Barbara Louise Bieser.

Al will be missed by many, including his wife, Karen Coady; two sons, Scott Bieser of Friendswood, TX and Frank William Bieser, III and spouse, Janice Sharp of Round Rock, TX; grandsons, Zeke Bieser of San Antonio, TX, Jake Bieser of Richardson, TX; and Ian Bieser of Friendswood, TX; three stepsons, Jeff Lewis and wife, Sarah of League City, TX; Greg Lewis and wife, Anjali of Brentwood, TN, Josh Lewis of Driftwood, Texas; six step-grandchildren, Coady, Kinton, Kavin, Jaya, Joie, and Clark Lewis;; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Also missing Al very much is his faithful little dog, Max. Max was a great of comfort and love through Al’s illness and his last days at home.

As a final gift to science and further contribution to the education and research of others, Al donated his body to Health Services Center of Houston (UT), McGovern Medical School.
