OBITUARY Albert Davidson Blackstone Sr. April 25, 1928 – January 22, 2019 Evans, GA – Albert Davidson Blackstone, Sr., 90, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He served in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 63 and was a plumber by trade. He retired from Civil Service and Columbia County transit system.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Hamilton Haynes Blackstone and Beulah Louise James Hall; and daughters, Beulah Sue Blackstone and Phyllis Ann Rabun. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Jeanette Blackstone; son, Albert Davidson Blackstone, Jr.; daughter, Sandra Annette Crews (Rick); son, Joseph Michael Norris; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vicki Saliba, Virginia Ann Seagar, Marion McGaugh, and Nancy Sue Downs; and a host of extended relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907, with burial immediately following at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA 30906.
