Albert’s Obituary Age 97, of Farmington, passed away January 21st, 2019. Albert was born August 1, 1921 in Fremont Township, Michigan; the son of Morris and Hazel (née Green) VanRenterghem. Surviving Albert are his cherished daughters, Susan Gunyou and Lisa (Scott) Martin; grandchildren, Melissa, David, Haley and Kelsey; great grandchildren, Lilly, Milla, Jaxon and Blake; siblings, Morris, Donald, Jack, Edna Moore and Robert.

Sadly, Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Doris (d. 2009) and brother, Burnell. Albert’s family will receive guests on Thursday, January 24th, from 9 – 10 am, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (23815 Power Rd, Farmington).

Albert will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan. Memorial contributions in Albert’s honor may be made to the Capuchins. Please continue to keep the VanRenterghen family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
