Obituary for Albert Reid Lynn Albert Reid Lynn, 86, of Brown Summit, passed away on October 13, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Shelton officiating.

Burial will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church cemetery with military graveside rites. Reid was born in Rockingham County to the late Albert and Beulah Lynn. He worked at Lorillard Tobacco Company for 30 years and attended Lebanon Baptist Church.

He had a great love for people and helping those in need and spending time the NC Mountains. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, J.T. and Jesse Lynn; sisters, Ola Mae Cheek and Nellie Whitley. He is survived by his son, David Reid Lynn and wife, Brenda of Browns Summit, NC, grandchildren, David Reid Lynn, Jr and wife, Kaela of Winston Salem, NC, Jennie McCoy and husband, Tom and their daughter, Kaylee McCoy of Long Island, NY; sister, Martha Sue Pardue of Rockingham County, NC; former wife, Minnie C. Lynn.
