Albert Western Neal February 04, 1925 – December 31, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Albert Western Neal, age 93, a McMinnville, TN resident and DeKalb County native was born February 4, 1925 and passed away December 31, 2018 in St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following a sudden illness. He was retired from Carrier, a member of Long Mountain the Baptist Church and son of the late Lonnie and Dovie Miller Neal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Mary Etta Bates Neal; second wife, Emma Killian Neal; son, Jerry Wayne Neal; daughter, Janie Carolyn Tanner; and brother, Tom Brown Neal.

Mr. Neal is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Betty Ann Neal of McMinnville; grandchildren, Albert Douglas Duncan and Jaycen Wayne Neal both of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and great-grandchildren; several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; half-brother, W.H. Red Clark of Smithville, TN; half-sisters, Mary Certain of Smithville and Eliene Pepper of McMinnville. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Mt. View Cemetery with Nathan Jones and Wendell Judkins to officiate.
