Obituary for Alberta Nichols Alberta Nichols of Arden Heights passed away at home on Saturday June 30, surrounded by her loving family. Alberta lived in Arden Heights for 40 years. A woman who will be remembered as putting family above all else, she was the matriarch of her family.

She lived her life by showing compassion, warmth, understanding and caring for her entire family. She was the devoted wife of Stephen. Loving mother to Michele Pellegrino, Marisa Charlin, Alberta Pellegrino and Nicole Pellegrino.

Dearest step mother to Stephen, Michael and Gregory Nichols, Cherished grandmother to her 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Felix Tambasco and his wife Beverly. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4, & 7-9PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. 28 Eltingville Blvd.

Staten Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered begining at 11:00AM on Thursday July 5th, at St. Clares’s Church. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
