Alberto Lopez, of Revere formerly of Colombia, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on January 31st at the age of 78. Alberto was born in Sevilla Valle, Colombia to Julia and Maria (Medina) Lopez on February 1, 1940. Beloved husband of over 58 years of Margarita Lopez.

Devoted father of Patricia, Julio, Alfredo, Isabel, William and Margarita Lopez. Cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his beloved puppy CiCi and many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Alberto’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga St., East Boston on Tuesday February 5th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass in celebration of Alberto’s life will be held at the Most Holy Redeemer Church Maverick St., East Boston on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM.
