Obituary of Alexander Wayne Rifenburg Alexander Wayne Rifenburg, 74, of Tivoli, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Born on December 10, 1944, in Red Hook, NY, he was the son of the late Alexander and Ethel (Redder) Rifenburg. Wayne was an Engineer for the manufacturing company, KAZ Inc. of Hudson, NY.

Wayne was a proud and longtime supporter of the Tivoli Fire Company and several veteran organizations. In addition to his longtime partner Phyllis A. Broast, a son Scott Alexander Rifenburg, and his stepdaughter Lori Broast predecease him. Wayne is survived by his two daughters, Melissa J. Rifenburg of Long Island, NY, and Ladonnis Rifenburg of Tivoli, NY; his stepchildren, Gregory Broast, John Broast, and Karen Broast; a nephew Roger Rifenburg, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, extend family and friends.

Funeral services and interment in Red Church Cemetery will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to the Stephen Siller: Tunnel to Towers Foundation at tunnel2towers.org/. Arrangements are under the direction of Burnett & White Funeral Homes 7461 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY.
