OBITUARY Alfred Pavia May 25, 1923 – December 31, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Alfred Pavia, 95, of Delray Beach, FL passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at his home, with his children by his side. Alfred was born in Newark, NJ on May 25, 1923, the youngest son of the late Frank and Ida Pavia. Alfred was a World War II Army Veteran, serving in the European Theater for 3 years.

After leaving the service, he married the love of his life, Angelina, on November 2, 1947, and they were married for 49 years before her passing on December 31, 1996. Alfred worked for Public Service Electric and Gas in Newark, NJ before retiring after 30 years. They relocated to Florida in 1983.

Alfred is survived by his son Alfred Pavia Jr. (Lynn Pavia) and his daughter Lois Ann Russo; grandchildren Michael Pavia, Robyn Pavia-Hall (Jacob Douglas), John Russo (Jamie Russo), and Patrick Russo; great grandchildren Angelina Hall, Sophia Pavia, Dominick Pavia, and Aiden Russo; as well as his sister Rosalie Bisogno. The family will receive friends at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL, 33432 on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 4 P.M. and again from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 7, 2019 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment with Military honors will immediately follow at Boynton Beach Mausoleum.
