Alfred Pfeiffer, age 80, of Wheaton, passed away on March 7, 2019. He was born in Yugoslavia on December 10, 1938 to Johann and Elisabetha Pfeiffer. Alfred was a US Army Veteran and he enjoyed working on cars.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Ruth (nee Martensen); sons, Jeff (Jaime) Pfeiffer and Jim (Sara) Pfeiffer; daughters, Laura (Dino) Wingstedt and Charlotte (Ray) Esunis; Ruth’s son’s, Brett (Amy) and Erik; grandchildren, Jenny, Steve, Tom, Lisa, Melissa, Nick, Emerson, Simon, Max, Hannah, Andrew, Aaron, Aidan, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Amaya, Neveah, Sofia, Avery, Zion, Kylo and Brayden; sisters, Helene and Maria; and relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago.
