Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the passing of Alice C. Oliver, age 91, who passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at The Pavilion under the care of Comfort Care Hospice. She was a native of Copenhagen, Denmark living in Appling County for the past 60 years. Mrs. Oliver retired as the Librarian for the Appling County Library after 37 years of service and was a member of Baxley Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lee Coleman and daughter, Carol Morris. Survivors include her husband, Roy Oliver of Baxley; three grandchildren, Jennifer Morris of Glenwood, Michael Morris of Blackshear and Jerry Lee Gibson of Baxley and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date at Baxley Freewill Baptist Church.
