Alice’s Obituary Alice J. Carvara, age 91, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 on her birthday, at Southpointe Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center. She was the wife of Joseph Carvara. Alice was born in Fall River; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ursula (Ferreira) Viveiros.

She was a floor lady and sewing machine operator for many years and an avid reader of Bible. Besides her husband Joseph, Alice is survived by two sons, Raymond Carvara and David Carvara both of Fall River, a grandmother of Stasia Croteau of Rehoboth and David Carvara of Seekonk and several nieces and nephews. Alice was also the sister of the late Manuel Viveiros, Jesse Viveiros, Joseph Viveiros, Jr; John Viveiros and Elizabeth Xavier.

Alice’s funeral will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, at 8:30AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in Holy Trinity Parish 951 Stafford Rd, Fall River. Interment will be in Polish National Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
