Alice’s Obituary Alice Jean Schaefer Pauline, SC Alice Jean Carpenter Schaefer, age 80, passed away Thursday February 28, 2019. A native of Kinzua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Carpenter and Ina Jean Conley Carpenter, the widow of Robert James Schaefer, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a home maker. Survivors include one daughter, Celia Schaefer Buzby (Bob) of Spartanburg; a son, Brett Schaefer (Laura) of Phillips, WI; three brothers; two sisters; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Randy Schaefer; three brothers and two sisters A Celebration Of The Life Of Mrs. Schaefer will be held in the chapel at Forest Hills Funeral Home – Woodruff, SC Friday March 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Jeff Wells. The family is at their respective homes.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Service Dog Institute – 655 H. Fairview Road #173 – Simpsonville, SC 29680.
