Alice L Dolf, November 06, 1928 — April 26, 2019

Alice Leonor (Jeffery) Dolf was born in Belize, British Honduras where she lived until venturing to the United States to attend college at Our Lady of Cincinnati, now known as Edgecliff College. It was here that she earned a degree in Sociology and during this time met and later married Thomas Dolf. Alice was a sweet, generous and patient wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor, and friend.

She had an often surprising sense of humor; even in her later years in the most difficult of times. She was a talented gardener and an avid reader. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ellen; son Jeffery; grandchildren Stephanie, Anna, and Daniel; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Jr. (1999), daughter Susan (1999), and husband Thomas (2017). The family will receive friends Friday, May 3, 2019 from 9:30 am until the time of the Memorial Mass 10 am at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, Royal Oak. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
