OBITUARY Alice Long December 15, 1918 – November 30, 2018 Alice Long Easley – Alice M. Jacobson-McCabe-Long, 99, passed from this life on Friday November 30, 2018 just fifteen days shy of her 100th birthday. Mrs. Long was born in Duluth, MN a daughter of the late Joseph and Mae Gibeau. She was reared in Ashland, WI and Quebec, Canada.

For many years Mrs. Long was a legal assistant in multiple law firms in St. Petersburg, FL. She was well known in St. Petersburg for her outstanding singing voice. She loved to garden and was accomplished at all forms of needle work, winning many prizes for her Swedish weaving.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula J. Morris (Bill) of Easley, SC and Pegoty A. Packman (Rich) of Clearwater, FL and a son Robert E. Jacobson (Donna) of Piney Flats, TN and a foster son, Eugene R. Brandon (Linda) of Hendersonville, NC. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Long was predeceased by three husbands, Eugene W. Jacobson, Lt.

Colonel Earl L. McCabe, Ret, and Oris Cecil Long, a son Jon R. Jacobson and grandson Michael Jacobson. No funeral services will be held.
