Alicia Berrios November 01, 1945 – February 05, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Alicia (Santiago) Berrios 73 of Middle Village, Queens, NY died Tuesday February 5th at NYU Winthrop Hospital, Mineola, NY. Born in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Berrios came to the U.S. when she was 15. She lived in Brooklyn and then the Rossmoor community in Monroe Township, NJ before moving to Middle Village in January of last year.

She was a former parishioner of All Saints RC Church, Williamsburg and St. James RC Church, Jamesburg. She was devoted to her family. He whole life was about other people, caring for family and friends when they were in need.

She enjoyed playing the lottery (scratch offs) and going to area Casinos. Mrs. Berrios was predeceased by her husband Roberto in January of last year. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Matthew Densen of Monroe Township, her son and daughter-in-law Roberto and Carmen Berrios, five sisters and two grandchildren Robert and Chelsea.

Services will begin 9:30 a.m. Monday February 11th at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, NJ followed by a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. James RC Church, Jamesburg. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Sunday 2-7 p.m. and Monday 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
