OBITUARY Franklin Alicia L. Newman, 87, a longtime resident of Franklin, died at her home surrounded by her family on Feb. 21, 2019. She was born in Brookline, MA on Oct.

20, 1931 the daughter of Bror T.T. and Alice Lummus (Durkee) Lindroth. Alicia graduated from New England College where she received her master’s degree in social work. Mrs. Newman worked at the Laconia State School for several years prior to retiring.

Alicia enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, photography, and making little trinkets for her grandchildren. She was the widow of William Albert Newman who died in 2008. Family member include her sons: Kenneth R. Robb and wife Lynn of Sanbornton, Cedric R. Robb and wife Beckie of Franklin, and Glenn T. Robb of Phoenix, AZ, twin brother Georg T. Lindroth and wife Alice of Sun City Center, FL, and brother: Tage Gordon Lindroth and wife Katsuko of Newburyport, MA, grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her extended family.

A memorial service will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date in Wadsworth Cemetery, Danvers, MA.
