Aline Clara Kominczak was born September 3, 1936, in Houston, TX to Otto and Hattie Pechacek. She was the fourth of six children. On November 2, 1952 Aline was united in marriage to Alex Kominczak at Christ the King with a reception at the Bill Mraz Ballroom.

In her younger years she attended Christ the King Catholic School. She began working in the grocery business and was active with the Meat Cutters Union Local #408 for 20 +years registering new members, organizing markets and servicing the membership. After selling their “Mom & Pop” grocery store located in the Anderson Mayfair Hotel which served MD Anderson patients, they retired to Pattison, Texas.

Aline was a loyal listener to KSEV as well as the Texas Fishing and Outdoor Radio. She enjoyed planting her garden. She planted every tree on their property including fruit trees and dozens of crepe myrtles and roses.

She loved the outdoors and especially salt water fishing. She was an excellent cook and took pride in working in Kitchen Ministry in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Aline was happiest around her family & especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Aline passed away at her home at age 82. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hauptman and husband Ricky; son, Randy Kominczak and wife Karen; grandchildren, Patrick Hauptman and wife Lonna, Andrea Boots and husband Seth, Eric Hauptman and wife Cindy, Kevin Kominczak and wife Rana, Brian Kominczak and Christopher Kominczak; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rebecca Hauptman, Kaylee Lominac, Helen Hauptman, Blake, Raegan and Ryder Kominczak and Garrett Miller; brothers, Ervin and Melvin Pechacek. Aline was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Alex Kominczak; son, Russell Kominczak and great-granddaughter, Taylor Kominczak.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 20, 2019 from 9 o’clock in the morning until 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brookshire, TX. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 9:30 am followed by The Christian Mass of Burial also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father David DuBois as Celebrant. Interment for Aline Clara Kominczak will be held at 2:30 in the afternoon at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston after Mass and reception at the church.
