Allen Eugene Prachyl, 84, of Abilene, Texas went home to be with Our Lord on September 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Allen was born January 2, 1934, in Fort Worth, to John and Vera Prachyl. He attended Paschal High School in Fort Worth where he met his loving wife of 64 years, Captolia.

After serving in the Air Force for over 23 years, he helped his wife run a bakery for the next 25 years. Together they had two children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren … Read More » Allen survived by his wife Captolia; daughter Dolores Prachyl Haydon of Montgomery, Texas; son Allen, Jr. and wife, Marcie of Abilene, Texas. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters – Brenda, Wanda, Judy, Donna, David, Sharon, Debbie, James and their families; grandchildren-Desiree, Christopher, Maxwell, Tiffany and Erica; and 3 great-grandchildren – Morgan, Cadence & Alayna.

He was preceded in death by his parents-Johnnie Prachyl and Vera Sellers, step-mother-Elizabeth Cantrell, and brother-Johnnie Prachyl, Jr. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, Texas will provide the following services: Visitation Friday, September 21, 2018 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Final resting place will be at Long Creek Cemetery, Granbury, Texas.
