OBITUARY Allen Jacob Heffker Jr. September 14, 1959 – October 15, 2018 Allen J. Heffker, Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the age of 59 years old. Allen was born on September 14, 1959 to Elaine D’Antoni Heffker and the late Allen J. Heffker, Sr He was the loving father of A. J. Heffker (Tiffany) and Amanda Heffker Falgout (Cliff).

Proud grandfather of Ava and Mia Heffker, and Gabrielle Falgout. Former spouse of Deborah Heffker. Brother of Susan Heffker and the late Marie Lamia.

He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Allen had a great love for his family, and was married to Deborah Heffker for 29 years. They had 2 beautiful children, A. J. and Amanda.

Anyone who knew Allen, knew him to be a strong willed individual, who was never afraid to “tell it like it is”. He was never one to hold back his opinions or feelings, which was one of his best qualities. He worked in, and had a great fondness for, the trucking industry.

Regardless of which company he worked for, he was acknowledged with many awards, much recognition, and always stood out as a leader. Allen was loved dearly, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at ST.

BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
