OBITUARY Allen Rodgers Franklin April 6, 1949 – November 27, 2018 Allen Rodgers Franklin, age 69 of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Beloved husband of Catrina Franklin; loving father of Akil, Raymond (Jennifer) and Malcolm Franklin and step-father of Charles (Averiel) Jackson III; proud grandfather of Nevaeh, Jordyn, Jasmine, Alyssa, Christopher and step-grandfather of Emori Lynn; dear brother of William Lee (Loretta) and Marvin (Theresa) Franklin; Allen’s memory will be cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Allen graduated from Boys High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1966, Bronx Community College in 1970 and Stoney Brook – University of New York in 1973.

He taught and retired from Kenwood Academy High School.
