She raised other people’s kids as a Professional Day Care Mom, well past retirement age. She loved kids and they loved her. Known as “Granny” to many, “Mom” to their mothers.

She never looked her age, and during her long life wore many hats: Rosie the Riveter, Working Mom, PTA Mom, Girl Scout Mom, Lutheran Church Women Leader, Church Council Member, Supportive Military Wife. She loved watching the birds, looking at the mountains, making pictures out of the clouds, shooting her . 22, playing card games, doing find-a-words, flower gardening, playing with cats, dogs, and kids, and holding babies.

She was very friendly and protective of those not able to care for themselves- the small, weak, sick, lonely, or less fortunate. She will be missed by many, including her 3 children and their spouses, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and Honey the cat.
