Althea Marie Goode November 06, 1943 – December 31, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Althea Marie Goode, 75 was born in Asheville, NC where she departed this life on Monday, December 31, 2018. Mrs. Goode was a 1963 graduate of Stephens-Lee High School, and a member of the Stephens-Lee Alumni Assoc. She was a dedicated community activist.

Surviving are her daughter, Coleta Goode; sons, Mark Goode (Angela) and Glenn Goode; brothers, Eugene Kelly and Robert Pilgrim; sisters, Brenda Mason (Rick) and Albertina White (Norman); six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A special thanks to her special friend, Ms. Brown. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Elizabeth Pilgrim; husband John Goode, Jr.; brother, James England and sister, Linda Pilgrim.

Services will be held Saturday 12 Noon at Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult Choir and last surviving member of the dynamic Tried Stone Senior Choir. The family will receive friends at 100 Eastview Ave. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Service.
