OBITUARY Amanda B. Thomas January 1, 1982 – November 15, 2018 Amanda B. Thomas age 36. Dearly beloved daughter of Dennis Sr. and Shirley (nee Bruce), loving sister of Dennis Jr. (Stephanie), Timothy (Antonio), Tina, Tristin and Sylas, dearest granddaughter of Shirley R. Thomas, loving aunt of Celia and Olivia, dear niece of Linda Sikora. Noah (Shirley) Bruce, Bernetta Metz, David Bruce, Larry Thomas, and Shirley (Howard) Taylor and cousin and friend of many.
First and foremost Amanda had a deep faith in God and is survived by all her brothers, sisters and children in Christ at Hope Church in Brunswick! In addition to her wonderful family Amanda also touched the many lives in her professional travels like obtaining her bachelors of science from South University where she graduate Summa Cum Laude. Amanda currently was enrolled at Chamberlain University working on getting her Master’s Degree.
(Proudly the highest level of education in the family) All of this led her to Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio where she is a Registered Nurse. Amanda sat on the board of the Greater Cleveland Nursing Association. Amanda’s was also passionate about children and was a nurse for both Beulah Beach Summer Camp, and the Camp Ho Mita Koda a camp for children with diabetes.
