Amanda Heffington, 38, of Big Spring, died Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her residence. Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Myers & Smith Chapel. A fund has been established at Myers & Smith Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.

Amanda was born November 10, 1979 in Big Spring, Texas to Mariann Williams and Guy Coleman Heffington. She was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She had worked at the YMCA and was later a substitute… Read More » teacher.

She is survived by one son: Cole Bryant and his father Toby Bryant of McRae, Arkansas; her mother: Mariann Williams of Big Spring; one sister: Sarah Heffington, also of Big Spring; one niece: Laikyn Cantu; two nephews: Ryan Ivan Cantu and Cody Graysen Cantu, all of Big Spring; two aunts: Jo Ellen Guynes and her husband Larry of Farmer’s Branch and Glenda Seppelt of Yantis, Texas and several cousins. Amanda was preceded in death by her father G.C. Heffington and a son Caden Heffington. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
