Bro. Everette Broome will officiate with burial to follow in the Dickens Family Cemetery in the Midway Community.

Mrs. Dickens was of the Baptist Faith. She was a private sitter (CNA) and work for Home Health for many years. She was the owner of Home Spun Treasury in Blountstown, FL for over 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dickens; grandson, Craig Lott; parents, Jasper and Barbara Miller; 5 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Dickens Bourne (Tom) of Midway Community, Jan Dickens Munkres (Mark) of Ames OK and Marleen Dickens Attaway (Guy) of Clarksville, FL; son, Charles Leslie Dickens of Vernon, FL; grandchildren, Marsha Lott, Brad Brown, Shasta Brown, Angie Attaway, Khrystal Attaway, Chance Attaway and Summer Hansford; great grandchildren, Madison Hathaway, Faith Hathaway, Khloe Hathaway, Jakobe Attaway and Ava Baker; and great-great grandson, Baylor Bennett; sister, Margie Gore of Cartersville, GA. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2019 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
