Sill, OK, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:34 P.M., Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Lawton, OK. Amanda had been a homemaker.

She was born July 18, 1988 at Carbondale, IL, the daughter of Herbert Tracy and Barbara Jean (Betts) Smith. She married Shane Viernum on September 8, 2012 at Royalton, IL and he survives. She is survived by her husband of Ft.

Sill, OK, one son – Malcolm Elias Viernum of Ft. Sill, OK, her mother – Barbara Jean Smith of Du Quoin, her father – Herbert Tracy Smith of Du Quoin, father-in-law – Sean Viernum and wife Lisa of Centralia, IL, mother-in-law – Laurie McCarter and husband Greg of Hermiston, OR, special friend – Summer June Juhl of Du Quoin, friend – Katy Holloman of Marion, IL, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents – John and Sharon Smith, maternal grandparents – James and Junetta Betts, and her favorite cousin and co-video gamer – Jeremy Smith. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Jerrod Manning officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin. Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
