GLENFIELD- Amanda R.A. Blades, 77, of Pine Grove Road, Glenfield, died Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her home. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. She is survived by her siblings, Louise Hulbert of Brantingham, Eva VanZandt of Glenfield, Peter (Janet) Kriwox of Grieg, Samuel (Linda) Kriwox of Lowville, and Gary (Kathy) Kriwox of Alexandria Bay; and many, many, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Blades who died on May 13, 2014; her siblings, Charles Carbino, Joseph Kriwox, Donald Kriwox, Pauline Salmon, Albert Dumas, Nellie Grabb, Ruth Cobb, Steven Kriwox, Theresa Sweeney, John Kriwox, Sylvia Chennell, and Eric, Paul and Myrtle Kriwox, who died in infancy. Amanda was born on November 14, 1941 in Greig, New York a daughter of the late John and Eva M. Carbino Kriwox and attended local schools. On April 28, 1990 she married Donald L. Blades at her sister’s home in Greig, New York.

She enjoyed art and loved her flower gardening. She loved to feed the birds and playing cards. Amanda traveled many places and lived many places before returning home to live in Lewis County.
