Amanda M. Stewart-Ryan, age 50 of Janesville WI, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018. She was born on June 1, 1968, to Richard E. And Dianne K. (Jones) Stewart at Mercy hospital. Amanda graduated in 1986 from Parker High School and furthered her studies at Blackhawk Technical College.

Amanda hosted exchange students and opened her home to children in foster care. She worked several jobs throughout her life and recently became an ordained minister. She enjoyed woodworking, D.I.Y crafts and spending quality time with family and friends.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Marianne (Jonathon) Starks of Hawaii and Miko Stewart Ryan of Beaver Dam; 1 grandchild, Noah Starks, Hawaii; 2 half-sisters, Lori Willman and Robin Heumiller, both of Janesville; 2 nieces, Tanna (Matthew) Rodriguez and Haley Stewart; 2 great nephews, Dakota Stewart and Angel Rodriguez, 2 great nieces, Jodeci Rodriguez and Natalie Lankford; all of Janesville. She had many special nieces, nephews and many others who called her mom, grandma and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Angela K. Stewart, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, November 3rd at Janesville Wesleyan Church, 967 Benton Avenue, Janesville, WI 53545 with Pastor Jason officiating. Family and friends are encouraged to join for a fellowship luncheon immediately following services. Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family.
