Amber’s Obituary Amber Lynn Parrott, 37, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Amber was born September 30, 1981 in St. Charles, the daughter of Charles and Teresa (Bakameyer) Guthrie. On October 1, 2000 in Mexico, she married Josh Parrott.

She was a member of Lockewood Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Josh Parrott of the home; one son, Bryce Parrott of Mexico; two daughters, Briona Parrott of Mexico, Braylin Parrott of Mexico; and her mother, Teresa Guthrie of Jonesburg. In addition to her father, Charles Guthrie, Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents; Ralph and Betty Bakameyer, Sophia Guthrie and Charles Guthrie.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association. Both may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
