Amelia DiGiovine, 96, of Hopewell Twp. , passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. She was born on December 27, 1921 in West Aliquippa, a daughter of the late James and Lucia (DeJovine) Dinardo.

Amelia was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a former member of the M.P.I. Ladies Auxiliary and the Aliquippa Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of the St. Anthony Congregation.

Amelia worked for many years with the St. Titus kitchen crew. In addition to her parents, Amelia was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert “Gib” DiGiovine; two brothers, Anthony DiNardo and Angelo DiNardo; a sister, Mafalda Belich; and a sister –in-law, Jenny DiNardo. She is survived by a son, Robert DiGiovine and his wife Lorraine, Aliquippa; a daughter, Patty Vollmer, Hopewell Twp.

; two grandsons, Bobby DiGiovine and his wife Cheriee; and Marty DiGiovine; two great granddaughters, Italina and Giada DiGiovine; two sisters-in-law, Louise DiNardo; and Mary DiGiovine. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc. 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www. darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Titus Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at West Hills Health and Rehabilitation for their professional and compassionate care.

The St. Titus Christian Mothers will recite a Rosary in the funeral home at 3:30pm on Tuesday.
