OBITUARY Amos JD Hall November 7, 1927 – January 7, 2019 Mr. Amos JD Hall, age 91 of Bassett, VA, passed away on January 7, 2019 after a decline in health. Mr. Hall was born on November 11, 1927 in Woolwine, VA, a son of the late Elmer Marshall Hall and the late Lillie Gay Foley Hall. He was employed by Fieldcrest Mills for over 40 years.

He served in the U.S. Army and he was a member of the Bassett Church of the Brethren Mr. Hall is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 71 years, Doris Clark Hall of the residence, three sons, Mike Hall and wife, Judy of Millsboro, Delaware, Ron Hall of Greenville, NC, Mark Hall and wife, Vicky of Greensboro, NC, 3 grandchildren with spouses and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Clark, Clarissa Moore and two brothers, Garfield Hall and Grady Hall. A Graveside Service with Entombment will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2019 at Roselawn Burial Park with the Reverend Maynard Baker and the Reverend Clyde Hylton officiating.
