OBITUARY Amy Comeaux Delcambre January 11, 1934 – January 8, 2019 DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Leroy Mitchell Delcambre, the former Amy Comeaux, age 84, at 11:00 am Friday, January 11, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

The funeral home will open at 8:00 am on Friday until 10:30 am. A native of New Iberia and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Delcambre passed away at 12:16 am on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Maison Du Monde Nursing Home. Mrs. Delcambre enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family cooking her signature dishes for them.

She will be missed by them dearly. She is survived by one son, Mark Delcambre and wife Debbie of Abbeville; four daughters, Ann D. Jennings and husband Doyle; Sonia D. Landry of Delcambre; Karolyn D. Hood of Youngsville and Shannon D. Broussard and husband Gregory, Sr. of Abbeville; seven grandchildren, Kimmy Vidallia; Reni Landry; Charidy Delcambre; Chassidy Trahan; Niles Romero; Chase Romero and Gregory Broussard, II; eleven great grandchildren, Cara Delcambre; Cole Delcambre; Charles Delcambre; Luke Trahan; Logan Trahan; Sophie Romero; Finn Romero; Sydni Romero; Scarlet Romero; Eli Landry and Brenli Landry and her half-brother, Dean Comeaux of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Mitchell Delcambre; parents, Theoville and Emily Myers Comeaux; son in law, Ricky Landry; one sister, Lucille Romero and four brothers, Jay, Claude, Wilson and James Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be Niles Romero, Chase Romero, Gregory Broussard, Sr., Charidy Delcambre; Reni Landry and Luke Trahan. Gregory Broussard, II and Eli Landry will be honorary pallbearers. To view the on-line obituary, and sign the guest register, please visit www.
