Amy Lynn ‘Amos’ Simington Oct. 23, 1971 – May 12, 2019 Amy Lynn “Amos” Simington, 47, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Joe B. and the late Colleen Trudy (McGraw) Cupples.

Surviving are her father; her ex-husband, Scott D. Simington; a daughter, Madisyn Lynn “Madi” Simington; a son, Jared Taylor Simington, and wife, Raychell; two granddaughters: Rayliee and Amelia Simington; a brother, Joe E. Cupples; and her Golden Retriever, Gus. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Norma E. Cupples; her grandfather, Edward F. McGraw; and two uncles, Michael T. and Dennis G. McGraw. Amy was a 1989 graduate of Altoona Area High School and attended the South Hills School of Business.

She worked for Blair Orthopedics, UPMC Outpatient Coding, the Sheetz Corporation and she also cleaned the offices for Dr. Ziad Khoury. She was a member of the Jaggard First United Methodist Church in Altoona. She was also a member of the Buccinese Society Ladies Auxiliary.

Amy enjoyed bowling. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, May 17, 2019, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park, Pastor Beth Pyles officiating. Inurnment will take place in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
