Ana Aurora Arenas, Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ana Arenas, 92, of North Plainfield, NJ passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving children on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019.

Ana was born in Tolima, Colombia, and spent many years living in Bogota, Colombia, moving permanently to Plainfield, NJ in 1981 with her nine children. She was an excellent cook and had a great sense of humor. She passed along her sarcastic wit to many of her children, and grandchildren.

After raising her own children, she had a hand in raising most of her grandchildren as well. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roberto Arenas, and her beloved son, Rene Arenas. Surviving are her four daughters, Amparo, Ligia, Amalia, Sandra, and her four sons, Roberto, Raul, Rodolfo, and Fernando.

Ana was blessed by 20 grandchildren and 11 grandchildren, as well as host of other loving family members who will all dearly miss her.
