LANTAGNE, Andre O., 90, of West Shore Road, Warwick, passed away Thursday morning, November 8, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Leona J. (Gadoury) Lantagne, they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past June 26th. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Elodia (St. Martin) Lantagne.

He resided in West Warwick and Warwick. Mr. Lantagne was a chemical batch maker at Ciba Geigy Chemical Company in Cranston for many years before retiring. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, enjoyed traveling, camping and he bowled in a league when he was younger.

He also loved to played cribbage at the Coventry Community Center. Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Eileen A. Kirkpatrick of Indian Head, Maryland; a son, Kenneth N. Lantagne of Warwick; a sister, Therese Tomasso of Warwick; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Lorette Demers, Edna Urban, Rita Gendron and Lionel Lantagne.

Visitation will be held Monday. November 12, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a funeral home service at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.
